OUR NEEDS – HELP US FILL THE GAP

Our 2020 Goals are very specific – we have two major needs.

  1. We need to update our clinic to make it wheelchair and ADA accessible.

  2. We need to subsidize the services offered at CSAcu.

We make wellness services available at below market rates – filling an important gap in access to care – but we rely on donations to fill the gap in our sliding scale. By the numbers, it takes $60 per treatment to sustain the services we offer. Because we offer services for no cost and reduced cost, we receive an average of only $28 per treatment.

$32 – Fills the gap in the sliding scale for one treatment

$60 – Allows for 1 fully free acupuncture treatment on a free Friday

$150 – Helps keep our doors open for a free Friday clinic

$600 – Allows 4 Fridays to continue to be free or donation based

$5,000 – Helps CSAcu build an ADA wheelchair ramp for the building

THE SUCCESS

Give for Good Louisville has been a wonderful experience for CSAcu over the years. The fundraising we’ve accomplished has allowed us to grow so much. Just last year, we’ve been able to:

  • Bring in a new acupuncturist Kelli Jean Carter

  • Laid a new floor in the clinic

  • Become the only clinic offering Certified Neuro-Acupuncture, an incredible new technique blending modern neuroscience and ancient acupuncture techniques to treat neurological conditions.

  • Become certified in a revolutionary new acupuncture technique called “Soliman’s Auricular Allergy Treatment” capable of effectively treating an entire range of environmental or food allergies.
